\nThe concept behind this bag is to make full use of large-sized leather without waste. By piecing together multiple pieces of leather, the bag achieves ample capacity and a unique character.
\nFor this item, we used thin lambskin leather.
\nOur encounter with this material dates back several years. Shiga-chan received this leather from a leather artisan she knew\u2014leather that, due to scratches and stains, would normally be unsuitable for commercial products. However, the shoulder bags and pouches crafted from this leather exude a presence that belies their origins as scrap material and have garnered high praise as AFP items.
\nIn Shiga-chan\u2019s hands, materials destined for the trash are reborn as products with new value. I was deeply drawn not only to the quality of the finished pieces but also to the very concept of discerning the material\u2019s potential and making the most of it.
\nLater, Megane discovered similarly captivating leather materials and proposed them to Shiga-chan. Their ideas came together, culminating in this DIY patchwork leather shoulder record bag.
\nThe size is a design unique to Shiga-chan, who continues to perform as a DJ. It offers enough space to hold several 12-inch records, striking a balance between practicality and portability.
\nProduction is limited to just 10 pieces. <\/strong>
\nSince each bag is handcrafted entirely by Shiga-chan herself, mass production is impossible. However, it is precisely this irregularity that serves as proof of each bag\u2019s uniqueness; every piece embodies Shiga-chan\u2019s signature DIY spirit and her philosophy of using every last bit of the material.<\/p>\n
