The “Vomit” series is a series of reportage shot from 2002 to 2012, in which the author attempted to reflect the idea of the “organization” of modern society through actual vomit and diarrhea, mainly in the middle of the night in contemporary Tokyo, Japan. The impression one gets from the vomit on the street, which is also drunkenness, intoxication, and oblivion, is that of a strong ego (cogito), and the village consciousness peculiar to the Japanese people is already gone.
