SUGI
Born in Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Since his debut in 1989 with the first cassette jacket for BLOODSUCKER Records while a university student in Hiroshima, he has released many jackets for hardcore bands in Japan and abroad.
He has many fans around the world as a hardcore illustrator.
In 2012, he released his first art book “B/W SHIRO KURO Sugi’s drawings 1989-2003”. The book is still selling well and has succeeded in attracting new fans.

In recent years, he has released official Devilman T-shirts for Dynamic Productions, and is one of Japan’s leading illustrators, appealing to a non-music fan base as well.
